The Complaints Choir, an art project that turns gripes against the world into positive energy through the medium of song, is looking for participants for its Tokyo edition. Launched by Helsinki-based artists Tellervo Kalleinen and Oliver Kochta-Kalleinen in 2005, the project compiles the anxieties and discontents of people in a certain location into a rousing piece of music, which the participants then sing in public. Video documentation of the Tokyo edition will be presented as the Mori Art Museum’s MAM Project 010. The Museum website (below) features footage from previous renditions of the project and a call for participants for the Tokyo edition.

Application deadline: Wednesday 30 September
