Asada Akira Academia open lectures by KUAD Grad School president Asada Akira and his guests begin next month at the University. The 20 October session will include a screening of S/N, the legendary stage piece by multimedia performance group dumb type, launched in Kyoto in 1984, together with a talk by participants in the piece Takatani Shiro, BuBu de la Madelaine, and Takamine Tadasu. The 29 October session welcomes another dumb type affiliate, Ikeda Ryoji, who was limelighted recently with a solo show at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo.
