Sejima Kazuyo: Cooperative exhibition

Okamura Design Space R is an annual project in which an architect collaborates with creatives from other disciplines. For this – the seventh – staging, Sejima Kazuyo of the architectural unit SANAA presents an exhibition titled Tomei na katachi (Transparency takes form). In answer to the theme ‘The world as you’d like it to appear now’ provided by the organizers, Seijima joins forces with Sasaki Mutsuro, the structural engineer on the Sendai Mediateque and emerging artist Kojin Haruka to create an installation using 3mm sheet acrylic. The collaborators will also appear in a symposium of the same title on 25 July.
