Metamorphosis – Objects Today is an eight-part series of exhibitions curated by Amano Kazuo (Chief Curator, Toyota Municipal Museum of Art) currently underway at Musashino Art University’s non-profit galleryαM. Opening next week will be Part 4, a solo show by the artist known for his use of household items such as fluorescent tubes, Higashionna Yuichi, presenting a mixture of old and new works. To mark the opening, the artist and curator will hold a talk. Also planned as a related event is a symposium involving the exhibiting artists.
