hiromiyosii (Kiyosumi)
The Berlin-based artist’s third solo show at TIG presents groupings of photographs, video and drawings in each of the gallery’s three spaces. Long exposures of the moon as seen from the window of the Koganezawa’s new flat, captured with a hand-held camera; edited video footage of a park shot repeatedly from the window of his previous flat; drawings the artist calls ‘sound and impression scribblings’. No theoretical justification, neither are they mere remakes of sensual experiences; they are a collection of fragments of reality and an attempt to recompose them.
