The second solo show at a Japanese museum of the artist known for his phenomenal use of elements such as color, fog, light and shadow to appeal to human perception and recognition. Here, based on his reading and understanding of the architectural and functional features of the Museum, Eliasson creates site-specific works that boldly capture and involve, at a fundamental level, the SANAA-designed architectural space. In spring of 2010, the artist will also unveil his new Colour activity house, which will remain as a permanent exhibit in the courtyard of the Museum.
