Cao Fei / China Tracy Live in RMB City 2009 Video

The internationally active young Chinese female artist who looks at changing Chinese society and everyday life from a perspective colored by Japanese and Western pop culture. This exhibition introduces Cao Fei’s RMB City Project, a growing, changing virtual city she has been developing since January 2009 on the online virtual-reality platform Second Life. The show also includes the new Live in RMB City segment of the project. By plan, the Project will travel to cities around the world over the two years following its launch.
