In the Shioe, Takamatsu-shi art museum, I hold Shunichi Kumano, joint exhibition of Tadashi Kobayashi six from collection titled “the look to people”.
Shunichi Kumano was born in Shioe-cho in 1908 (Meiji 41). I work as an elementary school teacher of Kagawa for three years from 1928 (Showa 3), but go to Tokyo in 1932 (Showa 7) to grant a dream to become a painter. I drew a person mainly for the prewar two department society exhibition era and continued a person image afterwards even after belonging to the society for two periods from 1952 (Showa 27). They visit Europe in 1963 (Showa 38), and they come to create a landscape mainly, but people appearing there are always described lively while going back and forth in Japan and Europe as an independent painter later.
Tadashi Kobayashi six was born in Takamatsu-shi in 1917 (Taisho 6). I continue the exhibition to two periods exhibition while teaching art as a teacher in an elementary and junior high school for approximately 40 years, and it is a member of society for a period in two in for the first time winning 1959 (Showa 34) in 1951 (Showa 26). I resigned from exhibition of 1979 (Showa 54) last and continued the activity of the painter as an independent afterwards as well as Kumano. A lot of people appear in the work of Kobayashi. Particularly, as for children making a motif, there is not affectation and I am run over and describe it in the innocent place through a life. When Kobayashi won a prize in two periods party for the first time, I met Kumano and deepened interchange afterwards.
Shunichi Kumano always describes it in painting with watercolors in a sketchbook first and describes it in oil painting on a canvas afterwards. In this museum, I possess a lot of sketching that Kumano described in postwar period. I put the oil painting images which spend time, and were painted together to symbolize an oil painting image and the look easy for you to children of Masashi Kobayashi six that I described it in in visit to Europe ahead including a human body sketch created in a drawn line full of sense of reality by the book exhibition, and approximately 40 points introduce.
