Posthumously 50 years Joshin Isoi exhibition

 Joshin Isoi (いそいじょしん) <1883 (1883) -1964 (1964)>Oh, I was born in the Kagawa-gun Miyawaki village (existing Kameokacho, Takamatsu-shi). I engage in repair and the processing of the Chinese art industrial art object after graduation in (1903) Kagawa polytechnic instrument japanner department at mountains firm of Osaka in 1903 and acquire various industrial arts. I repeat original studies through a posthumous work of Zokoku Tamakaji (たまかじぞうこく) and a point carves (1913) Toppan Printing for a hint in 1913 and, after a return, invents 蒟醤 (きんま). I brought about a new expression domain of 蒟醤 by starting few depth and three-dimensional impression for conventional line carving. When department of industrial arts is set up for (1927) Imperial Academy's art exhibition in 1927, I announce the prominent design and original work by the molding power, and 如真 wins a choice by a (1938) second new sentence exhibition [彫漆石南花之図手箱] on the stage of an Imperial Academy's art exhibition, a new sentence exhibition in activity, 1938. [lacquer-carving flower sentence hand drum box] which I exhibited at (1931) twelfth Imperial Academy's art exhibition in 1931 in particular is known for the work which used point carving 蒟醤 together with lacquer-carving as a work which has brought the author into prominence of 如真. In addition, 如真 does various 加飾技法 with a thing of self medicine baskets and clips out the pattern which it is purple and shades it off in the lake color of the relay from white and paints and made with a stack, technique to start the feel of a material such as the transparent cut glass and an elaborately-coated lacquer ware with patterns in relief board, and the skill full of the originality including the technique to stick it on the container womb, and to emphasize a three-dimensional impression and a prominent molding sense can find the best of the Sanuki lacquer art. I made an effort for establishment of the modernization of the Sanuki lacquer art for life in Takamatsu and was called "a father of the interest during the Sanuki lacquer art", and 如真 was authorized in 蒟醤 in (1956) in 1956 by the holder of an important intangible cultural property (living national treasure) of the country.
 This exhibition memorializes 如真没後 50 years and displays approximately 80 points of masterpieces to the later years from the early days.
