Group exhibition “Takamatsu contemporary art アニュアル” of the annual modern art to introduce a superior young writer to. I introduce it in the artists of the fourth five sets six that are going to confront the world to a clue by a dream and imagination this time titled “the whereabouts of the DAYDREAMS/ dream” becoming held.
スプツニ child! (1985 – / Tokyo, U.S. Boston residence) draws daily question or interest on the pop picture and music of the music video style that oneself plays a chief character vividly. Masakatsu Takagi (1979 – / Hyogo residence) makes processing on the picture which oneself photographed and, in combination with one’s own music, builds up the dazzling picture and world of the sound that are full of imagination. Asuka Takamatsu (1984 – / Kagawa native places, residence) draws the world with a feeling of floating that slightly deviated from reality about a person and the scenery which I collected from a movie and the Internet in a fresh and young stroke of the pen. The tochka (resident in 1978 – / Nara together Takeshi Nagata + モンノカヅエ /) creates the pop picture world that various colors and form present by technique of “PiKAPiKA” expressing the trace of the penlight by a one-frame shooting technique animated cartoon busily. 依田洋一朗 (1972 – / Kagawa native places, U.S. New York residence) draws the fantastic scenery that a fruit mixes with emptiness to canvas about the character of the old movie or a theater of New York.
Various “DAYDREAMS” which spirited artists draw (daydream, imagination, dream). They must present new viewpoint and sensitivity to us. Please expect it for the contest of the special “dream”!
