The Southeastern Asian countries which attract attention by the remarkable development now from the world. In this area, people lived together in a variety of religion and ethnicity, complicated historic experience, and original culture was formed. “Welcome to the Jungle – heat introduces the Japan first public exhibition and the Southeast Asia 8 ケ country including the work that it is, the work of 25 sets of writers than the collection of Singapore art museum in Southeastern Asian contemporary art -“”. In space on density and the heat just like the jungle, please sense “now” when Southeast Asia is hot bodily. In addition, I collect Asian 近現代美術作品 systematically and I put the works of 16 sets of writers of the Southeast Asia 8 ケ country together than the collection of Fukuoka Asia art museum which is known globally by displaying it and introduce.
*The book exhibition is held under the art museum cooperation in Singapore by a joint plan of Yokohama art museum and Kumamoto-shi Museum of Contemporary Art.
