In Kumamoto-shi Museum of Contemporary Art, I start “perception of 小谷元彦展幽体” on Saturday, September 17.
Motohiko Kotani learned a traditional sculpture at an art of Tokyo art university and I took in a photograph, the media various positively including the picture and ached and developed the work which I was about to accuse at a body sense and the subconsciousness of the person who watched it such as fear, joy afterwards.
The book exhibition went around it with forest Museum of last November as a start for one year. In this museum becoming the last meeting place, I add the new exhibition work and I put it together in the display space and largely reconstitute it. Please enjoy work expression of Kotani submitting new charm and possibility of the art itself without simply expanding the concept of the sculpture.
