Shuji Terayama X Hiroshi Yokoyama: “The box” which appears for the drama of Shuji Terayama in the concept called the box man “uninhabited island” of two people frequently. “The box” of the plastic model which I help with the stage of the peanut gallery for school days, and Hiroshi Yokoyama who built an original view of the world called “マシーネンクリーガー” by illustration + model produces afterwards. The book exhibition considers various functions that the device called “the box” has and introduces a design of “マシーネンクリーガー”, the molding-related charm.

1. The thought to wait for spring in deep snow, and to love spring in winter severe for a long time of the Aomori beauty + Hirosaki-shi Expo collection northern country “waiting for Kojin Kudo spring.” And the joy that life to feel for coming of spring wells up. I follow a trace of the original work world where Japanese painter, Kojin Kudo (1915-2011) built hometown, Tsugaru as the source of the creation by a masterpiece from the collection of Hirosaki City museum and Aomori Prefectural art museum.

2. Yuzo Kondo (1902-1985) who described a Yuzo Kondo device in a structure, a caliber received the authorization of the formlessness important cultural property holder (living national treasure) in the technique of the dyed pattern in Kyoto in birth, 1977 and left a big footprint for the Japanese ceramic art world. The style is large-minded and, in pithiness, expresses the motifs such as trees and plants fruit or the mountains of nature by a pictorial stroke of the pen and the harmony of the light and shade. I introduce many perfect gems which I pictured in a pot, a variety of containers including 瓢瓶 in various technique such as dyed pattern, glaze back rouge, red glazing, 金彩 including platter “梅染付金彩大皿” more than 70cm in diameter.

[Shiko Munakata]
1. Figure of princess God of Munakata
Munakata draws a lot of figures of the gods and Buddha full of the humanity. It was the theme that Munakata liked the gods and Buddha most and was good at and I adopted the sacred book and poetry, the literature of the Buddhism in a subject and I pictured the gods and Buddha of various figures and expressed it.
I exhibit it at Venice Biennale in Sao Paulo Biennale, 56, the following day in 1955 and it is the thing which I get a hint and produced, but I tell, Munakata “pictured the human figure which French, is approaching it” about this work and picture masterpiece 《 two Bodhisattva Buddha ten large pupil 》 of Munakata who achieved 2 degrees receiving a prize in ten large pupils of Kofuku-ji Temple really expressively. In addition, I am merciful, and what Munakata drew among the gods and Buddha particularly willingly pictures the plump woman image which is seen like the real fresh-and-blood human being about poetry of Kanoko Okamoto with the Bodhisattva image which did the figure of the woman in board image 《 woman Kanze school record scroll painting 》.
By this display, I introduce bright original painting works such as figure 》 of ,《 mysterious figure 》,《 双妃 other than board image works such as board image 》 for series 《 woman 12 months of the four seasons when I drew a woman.

２．Scenery of Shiko Munakata Europe and America
For 1,959 years, Shiko Munakata went to the United States only after I received American Rockefeller Foundation and invitation of the Japan Society. During the stay in U.S. of approximately nine months, I performed the lecture of the board image at New York, Boston, Cleveland, Seattle, a university of each place including San Francisco and I held a private exhibition in a gallery of New York and energized. I extend a trip to Europe in summer vacation and visit France, Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and observe the art museum of each place and visit the grave of Gogh to France Auber. In 1967, 1974 and the four times in the lifetime go to the United States and, in 1965, tell by the charm of the Japanese woodcut and sublimate in a work of oneself for the impression that I got abroad afterwards.
By this display, I introduce the lithograph work which wrestled to production for the first time in the fence 》, United States of board image 《 賜顔 which did the Nike image which I watched in a figure of scenery and the Louvre such as fence 》 of the board image 《 Paris Seine river in a motif. Look at the European and American scenery which Munakata drew.

[Toru Narita]
Tooru Narita (1929-2002) who designs “an ultra man”, a hero, a monster, an alien, a machine of the initial ultra series called “the ultra seven”, and is the Japanese sculptor who had a big influence on culture after the war and the special effects art director. I introduce a hero designed by the high sensitivity as the artist, the design original picture of the monster.

１．Ballet by Marc Chagall “that co”, is の background image
The ballet consisting of all four that painter, Marc Chagall (1887-1985) who represented the 20th century in Aomori in 1994 produced “that co”, among の stage background images, collected the first curtain, second curtain, fourth curtains.
Jewish Chagall takes refuge in the United States to escape from the persecution of the Nazis in 1941. Ballet “that co”; of the New World this as for the の stage art a painter was the first big job that dealt with in the ground.
Ballet Leonide Massine who played an active part in ballet Rue in Russian dancers as for what “co, was in charge of の choreography that” who reached the premiere in 1942. The thing which arranged A minor piano trio music by Peter Tchaikovsky for orchestras was used for music, and the story assumed a lyric “Gypsy” of Alexander Pushkin the original.
Chagall was absorbed in this plan that concentrated the best of the culture of mother country Russia and finished stout imagination and kind to the stage full of the charm by rare sense of color.

２．Art writer, Yoshitomo Nara (1959-) from Misato Nara installation “A to Z Memorial Dog master type” “nu Seoul house” Aomori that played an active part at home and abroad arrested the heart of many people with the picture of the girl of the eyes that I challenged or the solid work of the dog that I looked sad where it was while being humorous mainly on a generation young until now.
In the Aomori Prefectural art museum, I began the collection of picture and Misato Nara works including the drawing in 1998 before the opening. Most of collection more than 160 points were produced now in Germany where Nara stayed in from 1988 through 2000.
In this exhibition room, I display the deposition work from collection and a writer of this museum around one of the works ,《 nu Seoul house 》 of the hut which I produced by collaboration with original unit, graf in 2006.
