Tokyo’s nexus for screening and education in Japanese film is offering two special summer-school courses in August: film history and the cutting edge of filmic art. The latter will feature a different subject and guest instructor including curators Hasegawa Yuko (MOT) and Hatanaka Minoru (ICC), artists exonemo and Kosemura Mami, and film director Suwa Nobuhiro for each lecture. Spaces are limited; lectures conducted in Japanese.
