The artist famed for his sound and light-emitting works made from modified household items and appliances performs live this Sunday night at Vacant in Jingumae, The performance is a segment of ‘wrong dance, right steps’. For five days starting tomorrow, the ground-floor artists’ workspace at Vacant will be open to the public, and the second-floor space will feature in addition to Umeda’s performance, a talk-event epitomizing the 00s with Studio Voice editor-in-chief Matsumura Masato and musician Kikuchi Naruyoshi among others.
