The Museum of Chinese in America opened its doors on 22 September at its new location on Centre Street in New York’s Chinatown district. MOCA’s new home was designed by artist and architect Maya Lin. The museum kicked off with a series of exhibitions highlighting its focus on Chinese-American history and culture, one, Here & Now: Chinese Artists in New York, featuring the works of contemporary artists Xu Bing, Yun-Fei Ji, Lin Yan and Cui Fei.
