As part of his contribution to Architecture Tokyo 2009, Nagasaka Jo (Schemata Architecture Office) will convert areas of Happa – the recently completely multi-purpose office/gallery building that now houses his office – into a hotel for the duration of the exhibition. Features of the hotel will include the Utrecht bookstore, Shimada Yoko’s Happa Hotel Cafe, and works by emerging artist Aota Shinya. Happa Hotel reservations now underway: ¥3000 per night/ per person.
