The Singapore United Overseas Bank has awarded the 28th Painting of the Year Award to Space In Between, a series of photographs by the young Singaporean artist Zhao Renhui (b. 1983). In addition to S$30,000 in prize money, the artist will be afforded the chance to participate in a one-month residency program at the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum.
