The Saatchi Gallery and Channel 4 have awarded the 2009 New Sensations prize to 24-year-old Oliver Beer. Established to support art students graduating in the UK and to find new talent, New Sensations 2009 also presented the works of 20 shortlisted students in an exhibition. Four finalists were given funding to make a work to present at the exhibition, and each had a film about them aired on Channel 4.
