Celebrating Thirty Years of Chinese Contemporary Art

This year marks the 30th anniversary of China’s first public contemporary art show: The Stars Exhibition. To celebrate the occasion, the pioneer founding member of the avant-garde Stars group and advocate of the Dashanzi Factory 798 Art District, Huang Rui, will look back at the Chinese contemporary art world to date and forward to its possible future. Moderated by art historian Philip Tinari, the event is co-hosted by Asia Art Archive, 10 Chancery Lane Gallery and Asia Society.
