Metropolis
With this year’s theme being the New World Order Survival Guide, the films from a diverse range of genres including science fiction, biographical, religious, documentary and animation, suggest ideas for surviving confusing times and burst with good intentions at the same time as transcending difference in politics, ideology and culture. On the first day of the festival, the masterpiece silent film Metropolis will be screened with musical accompaniment at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa.
