Miyajima Tatsuo designs for Royal Ballet

Miyajima typically uses LED digital counters, numbers flashing in darkness, to express life, death, and reincarnation. That visionary world will set the stage for a new work by the London Royal Ballet’s resident choreographer Wayne McGregor. The ballet will be performed in November in three-work program that includes George Balanchine’s Agon and Sphinx, choreographed by Glen Tetley. Miyajima also has a solo show opening at the Lisson Gallery, London on 25 November.
