Japanese collectors’ club shows art collection

The One Piece Club (representative, Ishinabe Hiroko), a non-profit organization launched to promote the popularization of contemporary art in Japan from the standpoint of the collector, will stage an exhibition of works from the collections of its members. Established in 2007, the Club currently boasts 50 members who in addition to enjoying contemporary art pledge to buy at least one work a year.

A talk introducing One Piece Club activities has also been scheduled during the soon to take place Art Osaka art fair.
