Tanaka Koki Relocate the Public Library in Taipei by borrowing one love story book at a time. Leave the book in the Taipei Fine Arts Museum. 2009
Text on wall, bookshelves, books from public library
A project that examines the objectivity and meaning of art exhibitions by posing the question ‘Whose exhibition is this?’ Individuals engage in exhibitions from a variety of standpoints: as artists, curators, administrators, educators, spectators. This exhibition promises to explore their respective roles and interactions, while providing a platform for mutual understanding and open dialogue. Participants include Japanese artist Tanaka Koki, Raqs Media Collective, and Hu Fang, a member of the curatorial team for the 2008 Yokohama Triennale.
