Atsuhiko Misawa is one of the writers attracting attention most in the world of the modern sculpture. Misawa born in Kyoto in 1961 started production of “ANIMALS” about the animal life-sized than 2000 after Tokyo art university graduate school completion and won the 15th Takashimaya Art Direction Award in the 20th Denchu Hirakushi Prize, 2005 in the next year, and the unique work supported by the prominent technique was appreciated. In addition, after “ANIMALS held at Nishimura art gallery,” I held a private exhibition energetically in art museums than 2007 of the whole country and impressed many people with a dream in each place. A chisel puts 樟 (クス) in material after hardening an image while Misawa describes drawing in the case of production and repeats it, but they leave a chisel trace (more) for a body, and the vitality that they did lively is felt, and animals colored with oil colors give off original presence.

By the book exhibition, I introduce a ceramic work or the drawing with approximately 60 points of three-dimensional works including the most new work mainly on a masterpiece of Misawa in addition. In addition, Hideki Toyoshima (gm projects) who became the topic in collaboration with Misawa at the past exhibition is in charge of space constitution and directs the gathering space of animals skillfully.
