Netherlands Escher foundation possession “world of Escher”

Woodblock artist of the prodigy whom the Netherlands produced in the 20th century when it was got close as a painter of “the trompe l’oeil” (I deceive a picture) in Japan, マウリッツ Cornelisz Escher (1898-1972). Under the theme of an abstract concept such as “transformation, circulation, infinity, two dimensions and three-dimensional conflict”, he leaves many works with a unique style of painting, and he still gets a high evaluation as a writer on behalf of the Netherlands.
By the book exhibition, I select carefully from the valuable Escher collection that Netherlands Escher foundation owns and, with approximately 110 points of prints and approximately 30 points of documents, introduce charm of Escher thoroughly. In addition, it is an artist on behalf of Netherlands graphic world of the 20th century and displays it including a work of Samuel イエッスルン de メスキータ which is a teacher of Escher. Through a work of メスキータ, I must see the origin of the Escher art.
The book exhibition does not remain “only to trompe l’oeil” (deceive a picture) which made the name of Escher world-famous, and it will be about the challenge to various expression before arriving at there at an intelligible perfect opportunity.
