Hara Museum ARC Booklet “ART of ARChitecture”

Hara Museum ARC Booklet
“ART of ARChitecture”
Scheduled to be released in mid-June 2010

We are pleased to announce the publication of ART of ARChitecture, a booklet which introduces the architecture and newly commissioned permanent installations of Hara Museum ARC, Gunma .

In 2006, in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of its founding, Hara Museum ARC embarked on a four-year project that entailed the expansion and renovation of its facilities and the addition of new outdoor installations.*1 Since the project’s completion in 2010, the newly added structures designed by Arata Isozaki & Associates and KAJIMA DESIGN have received much critical acclaim, including the Annual Architectural Design Commendation 2010*2 from the Architectural Institute of Japan.

This volume is sure to become a valuable resource not only to visitors to Hara Museum ARC, but to all those interested in art and architecture as well.
