On view at the Hara Museum in Tokyo is the first solo exhibition in Japan by Yang Fudong, one of China’s most renowned contemporary artists.

In this beautiful large-scale multi-channel installation — which consists of an over 10 meter long table, several video monitors and projectors — the artist brings praise to life through a scene of a banquet held for a senior military officer. This is a must-see!
35mm B & W film version of the work Backyard – Hey, Sun is Rising! (13 mininutes) will be shown every Sunday (it will be screened with a DVD player on all other days).
