N.H.K (New Caledonia. Helsinki. Kyoto), a photograph taken back in Kaneuj’s Kyoto days capturing the switch in late-night scenes on NHK TV from the south seas to snow country, is a work derived from Kaneuji’s thoughts and associations about the acronym NHK leading to something utterly different to its original meaning. With this process at its core, Post-Something features three-dimensional, flat, and video works formed from layers of everyday items and images.

Kaneuji is also showing in Contemporary Airy Craft from Japan to Taiwan currently underway in Taipei, and makes his curatorial debut at G-tokyo 2010 (30-31 January; Mori Arts Center Gallery).
