Hara X Kitashinagawa Go Around! 2020 [Hara Museum, Tokyo]

[Hara X] — A series of online streaming events presented by the Hara Museum against the backdrop of the changing seasons featuring various artists who perform music, dance or other types of expression with the museum as their stage. On Sunday, October 18, the Hara X event will be “Kita-Shinagawa Go Around! 2020.”

About Kitashinagawa Go Around! 2020
Gotenyama in the Kitashinagawa district was once the location of one of the 53 post stations of the old Tokaido, the road that connected Edo with Kyoto. In this area, filled with history and emotion, the Kita-Shinagawa Go Around festival is a launching site for new culture and art.
For the first time, the Hara Museum will serve as the main venue for the festival. In its courtyard garden, performing arts that can only take place within that locale and in that moment will be presented, also an art workshop where children will experience the joy of play and discovery at the same time. On the Kitashinagawa Go Around 2020 website (https://shinagawacs.com/pg/kitashinagawagoaround/), a video tracing the history of Kitashinagawa will be streamed to introduce the charms of Kitashinagawa to a wider audience.
To prevent the spread of Covid-19, the number of participants will be limited and live streaming utilized.
The festival will be live streamed (free of charge) with restrictions placed on live audience size to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Kids Art Workshop: Hyogen no Mememe
In this workshop, children will discover the joy of free expression through a variety of activities such as dance and art.

Workshop Leaders: Memi Shinozaki (Hyogen no Mememe), Ichiro Higashiizumi (Higraph), Dui (Dui’s Children’s Art Class)

Sessions: ①11:00-12:30 / ②13:30-15:00
Venue: The courtyard garden at the Hara Museum
Target: Pre-schoolers over 2 years old
Capacity: 10 children per session (guardians may observe only)
Participation fee: 1,000 yen (for each registered child and each guardian)
