This work uses their NFT called Startrail Registry Record (SRR) which adopts a new Layer 2 solution called Polygon. Its transaction costs have been reduced to 1/10,000 than the ones at Ethereum. Accordingly, power consumption is now significantly lower, thus it is more sustainable.
