Artist Ohtake Shinro is the subject of a special feature in the October issue (now on sale) of the culture magazine papyrus. Among the special feature’s series of articles, ‘Ohtake Shinro: See Japan’s zaniest public bathhouse’ reports on the highlights and making of the artist’s most recent work and functioning public bathhouse Naoshima Public Bath ‘I ♥ 湯’ (I Love Yu). The segment includes a conversation between Ohtake and Azuma Makoto, the flower artist responsible for the fauna at the bath.
