In November, we present a selection of four short films dealing with earthworks. An infinite runway leading into the Great Salt Lake, huge stones that move due to some miraculous natural phenomenon, a work by Robert Smithson installed beside a river on the site of an abandoned mine and its trajectory, and the mysterious form of a lake traced by the artist. These films, focusing on transcendent and sublime nature, and acts of human intervention, are filled with poetry, wonder, and power.
