In Kumamoto-shi Museum of Contemporary Art, I hold large retrospective show “Kishin Shinoyama exhibition photograph power THE PEOPLE by KISHIN” becoming first among a domestic public art museum of photographer, Kishin Shinoyama (しのやま, 1940 きしん -) than Saturday, June 30.
Start photographer activity at the latter half of 1950s, and Sasayama continues running at the top of the times while always taking in “now” sensitively; of various genres such as an idol, an actor, the celebrity such as the athlete, a city and a building, nude and nature, Japanese traditional culture took a picture, and sent it.
Above all, the portrait which I represented the person becoming the symbol of the times in goes up it to the enormous numbers.
By the book exhibition, I display approximately 130 points of portraits of the people who “I project it, and Shinoyama that is a mirror lasts more than 50 years, and continued taking it in the times” in a cathedral from Yukio Mishima, John Lennon and Ono Yoko, Momoe Yamaguchi to the various places suffered from by the East Japan great earthquake disaster that happened on AKB48, March 11, 2011.
And, through the image of people symbolizing each time, please expect the times when Japan walked it for a dramatic exhibition asking “the power of the photograph” to recall me to oneself some other time.

In addition, as special display of the book exhibition holding, I display approximately 30 points of unmanned scenery photographs which I copied the stricken area of the East Japan great earthquake disaster into during a session.
