The Hiroshima prize honored the achievements of the writer who contributed peacefully of the human in a field of the contemporary art, and Hiroshima-shi founded “a heart of Hiroshima” to desire peace in world permanency for the purpose of appealing to the world through contemporary art widely in 1989.
Issei Miyake, 蔡國強, the past eight sets of artists including Ono Yoko won this prize conferred once in three years, and Mr. Doris サルセド was decided to the ninth Hiroshima Prize prize winner this time. I hold the award ceremony of the ninth Hiroshima prize in July, 2014 (plan) and put it together and hold a Hiroshima Prize receiving a prize memory exhibition of Mr. Doris サルセド in this museum.
