catch time

Miyako Ishiuchi <<"Mother's"#49>> 2002

“Time” when I continue always carving in one direction from the present to the future at the present from the past and am irreversible. I am arrested and, at “time passing regardless of our will consistently,” how will be expressed in art? I pay my attention to expression of various “time” by this collection exhibition and do it with an opportunity to meditate facing “time” when a human being can never escape as far as there is life.
