The talk event with Takashi Murakami and Anri Sala, whose exhibition has been held at Kaikaikiki Gallery since October 14th, was held.
Born in Albania, Anri Sala is an artist to watch with his exhibition held at numerous museums all over the world and participation in international expositions.
“The base of the communications between human beings is to understand one another without the use of languages” Mr. Sala says as he showed the audience his works. The audience was impressed with the unique messages his works provoked and actively asked Mr. Sala questions during the Q&A session.
Mr. Takashi Murakami mentioned his impression of Mr. Sala’s works: “I was shocked by the power of speechlessness his works possessed while the incorporated ethnic issues. I want people to watch them with open-minds.”
The exhibition will be held until November 10th.
