Yukio Futagawa and the Origins of His Architectural Photography, 1955
When Japan was going to make rapid progress for international economic development, all “Japanese private house” ten volumes published from 1957 through 59 turned a camera to the beauty in the last moments of the private house daringly and let you do 瞠目 between the world. Yukio Futagawa (1932-2013) was aged around 20 years and photographed 280 points of monochrome photography which arrested work and the wisdom of the strength of the private house connected to the earth and the people accumulated there. Building historiographer, Teiji Ito (1922-2010) of the new star wrote the sentence in those days.
I settled as a building photograph, and Yukio Futagawa announced the thing which I looked at through definite evaluation eyes led by a publishing company to preside over by oneself. I run through the world in pursuit of superior architecture, and there is the origin of the trip of his building which left the work which there is not of standing parallel energetically in this “private house of Japan”.
You see the book exhibition through approximately 70 points of works which you choose the figure of the valuable private house which Yukio Futagawa of the young day caught and outran retroactively to 1955.

It is published from 1957 through 59 from an art publishing company, and, from 280 points of private houses of all collection of photographs “private house various parts of Japan recorded in ten (photograph, Yukio Futagawa, sentence, Teiji Ito) of Japan” which won a publication culture prize every day in 1959, I am picked again in 2012 by Yukio Futagawa and am an exhibition to introduce 72 points to which woke up a print by a latest digital output technology newly.

Yukio Futagawa (ふたがわ, Yukio)
1932 (7, Showa) -2013 a year (25, Heisei) years. Osaka-shi birth.
Osaka-shi birth. I am a graduate from Waseda University department of literature via Osaka City Miyakojima technical high school for 1,956 years. I meet a private house by the advice of Yasushi Tanabe of the history of building professor during attendance at school and, including photography, announce it as all “private house ten volumes (a sentence: Teiji Ito) of Japan” from the art publishing company for 1957-59 years. I win a publication culture prize by the work every day in 1959. In 1970, I established publishing company A.D.A.EDITA Tokyo Co., Ltd. where was specialized in a building book and I photographed it and continued announcing the world construction.
Teiji Ito (mind ていじ)
1922 (Taisho 11) -2010 a year (22, Heisei) years. Anpachi-gun, Gifu north Kuise village (existing Ogaki-shi) birth. Real name, 伊藤鄭爾.
A Tokyo Imperial University architecture subject is a graduate for 1,945 years. I successively hold a university studies assistant, Inst. of Industrial Sci., Univ. of Tokyo fellow, Guest Professor University of Washington, Kogakuin university president, Council for the Protection of Cultural Properties committee, Director of association of cultural assets building preservation technology. 1961 Architectural Institute of Japan prize (article) receiving a prize. In a main book of “the Middle Ages history of house – seal-based house establishment” (Tokyo University publication society), “the private house was valid” “Japan design theory” (Kashima publication society), “a private house of Japan” “重源” (Shinchosha).

Alone Sosuke Fujimoto (1971-) of the participation architect of the Japan building which won a gold lion prize by a Venice Biennale international architecture exhibition of 2012 deals. Sosuke Fujimoto wins an excellent prize (the second place) by an Aomori carried out in 2000 Prefectural art museum design competition and distinguishes myself and wins Japan architecture grand prix in “child with an emotional disorder short term treatment facilities” (Date-shi, Hokkaido) in 2008. I win the highest award with international design competition “Taiwan tower” of 2011 and am the one of the young person architect attracting attention most now.
