Set in 60 private living/working spaces scattered around six cities in eastern Ruhr Area, the first exhibition opens up avenues of thought and experience concerning perception of art taking light as its medium and well as concepts of publicness and privateness. Among the 59 participating artists/units are James Turrell, Olafur Eliasson, Dan Flavin, and hailing from the Asia are Katase Kazuo (Japan), Koganezawa Takehito (Japan), Haegue Yang (Korea), and Jun Yang (China).
