For the final round of his talk-session series, ART iT editor-in-chief Ozaki Tetsuya welcomes artist Nakamura Masato. Head of the artists’ initiative Command N since 1997, Nakamura’s creative practice has consistently explored the relationships between ‘art and society’ and ‘art and education’. He is also managing director of Tokyo’s newest alternative art space, 3331 Chiyoda, opening officially on 14 March. Ozaki will probe his guest on the ‘new forms of art’ he envisions the new space generating as well as his views on the ongoing theme of this series, ‘what is Japanese art?’ Advanced booking required.
