The dates for Murakami Takashi’s solo exhibition at the Palace of Versailles this autumn are set: the show will run for three months from 12 September to 12 December. The artist’s first solo show in France will feature two- and three-dimensional works exhibited in 15 rooms of the palace including the Hall of Mirrors where the Treaty of Versailles was signed and the Royal Apartments. The exhibition marks the Palace’s third exhibition following Jeff Koons in 2008 and Xavier Veilhan in 2009 devoted to a single contemporary artist.
