Japanese and international dancers and choreographers converge in Aoyama on 18 September for the launch of Dance Triennale Tokyo 2009. As a related event, Israeli choreographer Yasmeen Godder joins dance critic Norikoshi Takao for a talk at Aoyama Book Center on 19 September. The noted young choreographer was a 2001 recipient of one the dance world’s most prestigious prizes, the Bessie Award. Her Singular Sensation will be performed at the Aoyama Round Theatre on 23 and 24 September.
