The organizers of Beppu Contemporary Art Festival 2009 Mixed Bathing World, staged this year from mid-April to mid-June, will hold a debrief session in Tokyo on August 23. General director of the Festival Serizawa Takashi, general producer Yamaide Junya and several participating artists and staff will discuss the results of the Festival as a community initiative, visions for Beppu’s future and the potential for change among other topics. Future sessions will tour Japan as the Mixed Bathing Caravan.
