The Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture & Heritage announced the launch of the region’s new contemporary and modern art fair, Abu Dhabi Art, to be held from 19 to 22 November. The fair will take place in the Saadiyat Island Cultural District where plans to build the Louvre Abu Dhabi are underway. Along with a host of other events, Middle Eastern art will be showcased in an exhibition curated by Sharjah Biennial artistic director Jack Persekian.
