Anish Kapoor Svayambh 2007
A major one-man exhibition by Anish Kapoor, known for his massive installations, is to be staged at London’s Royal Academy of Arts this autumn. The show will feature recent works such as Svayambh (2007), plus site-specific offerings including Shooting into the Corner (2009).
Born in India in 1954, UK-based Kapoor was awarded the Turner Prize in 1991. Currently has work in The Kaleidoscope Eye – Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary Collection exhibition at the Mori Art Museum.
