For the next round of his talk-session series, Ozaki Tetsuya welcomes Mizuma Art Gallery owner, Mizuma Sueo. Based in Tokyo, Mizuma has launched the careers of artists the likes of Aida Makoto, Konoike Tomoko, Tenmyouya Hisashi, and Yamaguchi Akira. He established Mizuma & One Gallery in Beijing and 2008, and in 2009 opened a new branch of the gallery in Ichigaya-Tamachi. Their discussion will delve into the subject of ‘local/national’, exploring the regional characteristics and differences evident in contemporary art.
