Chun Kaifeng He’s Satisfied from Monday to Friday and on Sunday He Loves to Cry
The Singapore Art Museum and National Arts Council, sponsors of the biennial Singapore Art Exhibition selected from open submissions by Singaporean artists, have announced this year’s winning submission. The 2009 Singapore Art Exhibition Prize was awarded to Chun Kaifeng’s i>He’s Satisfied from Monday to Friday and on Sunday He Loves to Cry, and the Voters’ Prize, awarded to the participating artist whose artwork receives the most votes from visitors to the exhibition, went to Jason Wee’s Self-Portrait (No More Tears Mr. Lee). The exhibition runs until 18 October.
