Architectural models and drawings by some of the most sought-after Japanese architects working today will be shown concurrently at six leading Tokyo art galleries – Tomio Koyama, Gallery Koyanagi, Taka Ishii, Taro Nasu, Hiromi Yoshii, and Aoyama|Meguro ? during the month of August. Together with their individual shows, the galleries have organized a joint exhibition at the Eye of Gyre in Omotesando. Showing in parallel at Gyre will be Architect Japan 2009 – Architect 2.0: The Web generation’s theory of evolutionary architecture, curated by Fujimura Ryuji (Team Roundabout) under the direction of Iida Takayo.
