Having recently wrapped up two solo shows in Japan, 2001 Turner Prize-winning artist Martin Creed prepares to make his choreographic debut during this autumn’s Frieze Art Fair. The piece was co-commissioned as an offsite event by Frieze Music and Sadler’s Wells. Taking his inspiration for the project from the unique worlds created by his peers in their collaborations with Les Ballets Russes, Work No. 1020 will be performed by five classically trained dancers. It will also feature live music composed by Creed himself.
