Zoo 2009, the young gallerists’ satellite to the Frieze Art Fair, opened today in London’s East End, with more than 50 commercial and non-commercial contemporary art organizations presenting work, and specially curated exhibitions by Rob Tufnell and others. Participating from Japan are from Japan Yamamoto Gendai with a stand, and Magical, ARTROOM with a solo presentation of work by Endo Ichiro.
